DIGITAL SAFETY — FAST TIPS 🔐

1) Change critical passwords (email, cloud, socials) on a safe device. Turn on 2-factor authentication.
2) Check devices for control apps (unknown VPNs, admin profiles, location sharing). Disable “Find My”/tracking if unsafe.
3) Private browsing for searches; regularly clear history & downloads.
4) Create a safe email for planning & evidence backups (screenshots, threats).
5) Code word with a trusted person to signal “call help now”.

BUILD A SIMPLE SAFETY PLAN 🧭

  • Prepare a go-bag: ID, meds, charger, essentials, pet documents.
  • Keep cash / transit card for emergency transport.
  • Agree a safe place and a check-in time with someone you trust.
  • Document threats/injuries (photos, dates) — back up to cloud or trusted email.
  • Know local shelters / hotlines (see below). Save numbers under neutral names.

LOCAL & INTERNATIONAL CONTACTS 🌍

We are building a directory of shelters, hotlines, and rescue partners. Until it’s live:

  • Europe: call 112 for emergencies; search your country’s national domestic violence hotline and nearest women’s shelter.
  • Global: contact local police/emergency; look for recognized women’s shelters/NGOs in your city or region.
  • Animals: search for registered rescues/vets in your area; many cities have 24/7 emergency clinics.
